Role: Health and Safety Manager Location: West Midlands Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Traffic Management Salary: up to 55,000 DOE The Role We are delighted to be supporting a growing Traffic Management business with the appointment of an experienced Health and Safety Manager. This is a newly created opportunity for a health and safety professional who is looking to take ownership of a high-profile function and play a key role in shaping safety standards across a growing highways and traffic management operation. Reporting directly to the Group SHEQ Director, you will take a lead role in driving the Health and Safety agenda across the business, providing expert advice, visible leadership and practical support to operational and senior management teams. This is a role with genuine scope and influence. You will be responsible for ensuring the business continues to meet the highest standards of health, safety and compliance, whilst developing and embedding robust systems, processes and initiatives that support continual improvement. Working closely with depot teams, supervisors and frontline employees, you will have a visible presence across the operation and will be instrumental in promoting a proactive safety culture. You will also work closely with stakeholders across the wider business to ensure consistency, accountability and best practice are maintained.
