Health And Safety Manager

We are working with an established main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across London, with schemes valued up to 50 million. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HandS professional to work across significant construction projects and have a genuine influence on health, safety and wellbeing standards. You will work closely with project teams, site management and senior leadership, providing expert HandS support from pre-construction through to project completion. Key Responsibilities Provide proactive health and safety advice and support to project and site teams. Carry out regular site inspections, audits and reviews across projects valued up to 50m. Monitor compliance with current HandS legislation, regulations and company policies. Support project teams with RAMS, construction phase plans and HandS documentation. Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors to promote a positive safety culture. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and ensure appropriate actions are implemented. Assist with risk assessments and provide guidance on suitable control measures. Monitor subcontractor health and safety performance. Deliver and support site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Maintain accurate HandS records, reports and audit documentation.
