Principal People are exclusively supporting a unique and diverse company to recruit a Health and Safety Environmental Manager to lead the Health and Safety Team and deliver a cultural change programme. The Health and Safety Manager will have full responsibility for the current Health and Safety Team and will be working closely with operational members of staff to develop a positive attitude towards Health and Safety. The position involves working at their site in Southampton with autonomous travel occasionally to some other locations, giving you the opportunity to work with many different supportive team members. The role will be incredibly varied due to the complexity of the environment which will help you develop your career as you will be exposed to various, dangerous risks. As the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for: Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring.
