Job Title: Health and Safety ManagerLocation: HU7Salary: 40,000 Per YearWorking Hours: Monday - Thursday (06:30-16:45) with occasional Fridays as requiredAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to join our caravan construction manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust health and safety systems across the factory to ensure full compliance with UK legislation and to promote a strong safety culture throughout the workforce.The successful candidate will work closely with management, supervisors, and production teams to ensure safe working practices in all areas of the caravan manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the company''s health and safety policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with all relevant UK health and safety legislation and industry standards.Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections across the factory.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing reports and recommending preventative measures.Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks, and guidance to employees and management.Maintain all safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting.Work with production teams to identify hazards and implement practical safety improvements.Manage fire safety procedures, emergency planning, and evacuation drills.Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors where ..... full job details .....
