Health and Safety Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join an established company specialising in the manufacture and fabrication of vehicle bodies in Stockton. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced HandS professional to take responsibility for maintaining and developing health and safety standards across the business. The Role: Managing day-to-day health and safety across the site Ensuring compliance with current HandS legislation Developing and maintaining HandS policies and procedures Carrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspections Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions Providing HandS guidance, training and support to employees and management Promoting a strong health and safety culture throughout the business The Candidate: Previous experience in a Health and Safety Manager or HandS Advisor role Preferably experience within the automotive, vehicle manufacturing or engineering sector NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is desirable Strong knowledge of HandS legislation and best practice Experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment would be advantageous Excellent communication and organisational skills Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and influence others ..... full job details .....
