Health and Safety Manager

Kinetic PLC are delighted to be assisting with the recruitment of a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Burnley. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the HSE function, drive continuous improvement, and influence a positive safety culture across the site.Working Arrangement Full-time, site-based role Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 Flexibility required to support operational needsAssignment and Pay Permanent position Salary: 48,000 - 55,000 per annum (depending on experience)The RoleReporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance across the operation.Key Duties Ensure compliance with all relevant UK HSE legislation, including PUWER Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the site Manage incident investigations and implement preventative actions Drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with operational teams to embed best practice Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to staff at all levels Act as the main point of contact for external regulatory bodiesSkills and Experience Required Proven experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation (including PUWER) Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations ..... full job details .....
