Job Role - Health and Safety Manager Salary - £50,000 DOE Location - Birmingham Job Type - Permanent About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead their safety strategy and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of our business. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the company''s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and management systems. Ensure compliance with all current legislation, regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures. Provide expert advice to management on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance. Drive engagement and foster a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. About You NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH (GradIOSH / CMIOSH preferred). Proven experience in a Health and Safety management role, ideally within construction / manufacturing / logistics / relevant sector .
