As the Health and Safety Manager, you ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workplace safety and environmental sustainability.Salary £50,000 to £65,000 plus BenefitsWhat You Will Do:• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies in line with UK legislation and industry best practices.• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring machinery safety, manual handling protocols, and hazardous substance controls are adhered to.• Manage accident, incident, and near-miss reporting, conducting timely investigations and implementing corrective actions.• Deliver or coordinate training sessions to enhance employee, contractor, and visitor awareness of health and safety protocols.• Monitor and reduce the environmental impact of the site, including waste management and emissions control.• Maintain and review emergency response procedures, leading regular drills and ensuring readiness for fire safety and first aid situations.What You Will Bring:• Level 6 IOSH or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) qualification.• 3 5 years experience in a health and safety role within manufacturing environments.• Strong ..... full job details .....
