Health & Safety Manager

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead compliance,-auditing-and continuous improvement activities across our clients manufacturing, office and construction site operations.

This role is responsible for maintaining ISO standards, ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation-and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Health & Safety performance across manufacturing and site operations
• Maintain ISO 45001 compliance and Health & Safety management systems
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments-and incident investigations
• Develop and improve Safe Systems of Work
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, clients-and subcontractors
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance activities
• Deliver inductions and advise on training requirements
• Produce Health & Safety reports for senior management
• Support tender submissions and supply chain compliance requirements

Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
• Experience within construction, manufacturing-or engineering environments
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001
• Experience carrying out audits, inspections-and investigations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable

• Experience within manufacturing and construction
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
