Irwin and Colton have engaged with a FSTE-250 real estate organisation to identify a new Health and Safety Manager. The organisation has a multibillion-pound turnover and specialises in a wide variety of commercial and residential properties, not just across the UK, but globally.

Join a forward-thinking estate management team dedicated to delivering operational excellence at one of London''s most iconic mixed-use developments. We are seeking a proactive, influential Health and Safety Manager to oversee safety compliance, permit control and risk management across a diverse and high-traffic estate. This role will report to the Operations Director and work closely with the General manager day-day.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Lead and coordinate all health and safety activities, including audits, inspections, investigations and incident reviews.
• Manage the end-to-end permit process for construction, maintenance, utilities, and events within the estate.
• Develop and maintain safety systems, ensure legislative compliance and support ISO accreditation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and deliver targeted training.
• Provide expert advice to leadership and operational teams to mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement.

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification with extensive knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Proven experience managing health and safety in complex, urban, or public realm environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, confident in communicating at all levels.
• Experience in permit-to-work systems, incident investigations, and safety audits.
