Health and Safety ManagerOur client is an established fit-out and refurbishment main contractor based in Dartford, delivering projects across commercial, retail, hospitality, education and high-end residential sectors throughout London and the South East.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Manager to take ownership of health, safety, environmental and wellbeing performance across their projects.This is a hands-on role working closely with senior management, Contracts Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and project teams to maintain high standards, promote a proactive safety culture and ensure projects are delivered safely and compliantly.The role will involve regular visits to live construction sites, including occupied and refurbishment environments, making it well suited to an HandS professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and taking a practical approach to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging health, safety, environmental and wellbeing standards across fit-out and refurbishment projects.Providing HandS advice and support to site and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.Carrying out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.Reviewing and developing RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments and HandS documentation.Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with project requirements.Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances, implementing ..... full job details .....
