Health and Safety Lead Birmingham Contract: £600/day Permanent: £70,000 We re looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead HandS strategy across fleet, waste management, grounds maintenance, and street cleansing. This is a high-impact role, perfect for someone passionate about embedding a culture of safety excellence and driving strategic change. What you ll do: Lead and develop the Health and Safety strategy across multiple operational areas. Embed a strong culture of safety excellence throughout the organisation. Drive strategic initiatives that improve safety performance and compliance. Provide expert advice and support to operational teams. What we re looking for: Background in waste management, facilities management, or local government. IOSH/CMIOSH chartered membership or equivalent. Proven experience driving HandS improvements and leading teams. Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
