Health and Safety Manager
Are you an experienced QHSE professional ready to take ownership of health, safety, and quality across a technically complex, fast-paced engineering environment? We''re working with a well-established and growing engineering business near Maidstone, Kent, to find a Health and Safety Manager who can lead the function with real autonomy and senior visibility from day one. THE ROLE Reporting directly into senior leadership, you''ll be responsible for driving a positive safety culture across the business - developing, implementing, and maintaining the company''s QHSE management systems, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:Leading all health, safety, environment, and quality activity across site operationsOwning and maintaining ISO accreditations and internal audit programmesConducting risk assessments, method statements, and incident investigationsDelivering toolbox talks, training sessions, and HandS inductionsActing as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditorsChampioning continuous improvement across all QHSE disciplines WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent - essential Demonstrable QHSE experience, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, utilities, construction, or a similarly complex, regulated environment A confident communicator - able to influence at all levels, from shop floor to boardroom A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for driving safety culture Strong working ..... full job details .....
