Health and Safety Manager

We are looking for a-Health and Safety Manager-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the-UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a-Health and Safety Manager-to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
The-Health and Safety Manager,-will be responsible for:
- Managing a regular audit and reporting program
- Act as a key Health & Safety point of contact
- Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure employees are competent regarding their HSE duties, including toolbox talks.
- Developing appropriate arrangements to ensure that risks from contractors-are managed
- Undertaking investigations of site incidents and accidents that addresses circumstances, cause and consider improvements that could be made-
- Manage and maintain the COSHH register
- Ensure all relevant site files are in place and up to date
- Manage and maintain the Noise and Vibration registers for all equipment
- Performance audits on permits
To be successful for this Health and Safety Manager role you must have:
- NEBOSH Certificate essential or equivalent level 3 qualification.
- Strong technical-understanding in a manufacturing / construction environment
- Experience in delivery of QHSE
- Broad experience-in incident investigation and root cause analysis .
