My client are a regional water & civil engineering specialist who are currently looking for a Health & Safety Manager to cover various civil engineering schemes across the Midlands region.
H&S Manager Requirements:

Experience managing health & safety for civil engineering / water schemes.

Minimum 5 years’ experience.

Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM regulations.

Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Construction, IOSH, etc.)
H&S Manager Responsibilities:
-
Oversee all health & safety aspects of the project.
-
Ensure compliance with current H&S legislation and company policies.
-
Prepare and review RAMS, CPPs and site documentation.
-
Conduct site inspections and audits.
-
Lead toolbox talks and site briefings.
-
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
-
Liaise with site management, subcontractors and external bodies.
-
Promote a strong safety culture on site.
