Health and Safety Manager Construction / MandE Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Location: Insert Location Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent A well-established engineering and construction services company is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to take full ownership of HSE operations across the business. This is a senior-level position ideally suited to someone who has already managed Health and Safety at a company-wide level, rather than solely on individual projects. We are looking for someone with at least 5+ years of Health and Safety experience within the construction, mechanical, or electrical sectors, with proven capability overseeing HandS compliance for a business with a turnover of £60m £100m+. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) functions across the business. Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple live projects. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to engineers, supervisors, and project managers. Ensure company compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards. Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks, training, and ongoing safety education. Work closely with senior management to drive a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
