Health and Safety Manager CO Home Improvements Full Time Permanent Competitive Salary + Company Car North West - with some travel across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire About the Role We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to provide practical health and safety support across CO Home Improvements. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting multiple locations, including offices, showrooms, customer properties and construction projects. You will work closely with managers and operational teams to maintain high standards, ensure legal compliance and continue to develop a positive health and safety culture across the business. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain HandS policies, procedures and safe systems of work. Carry out risk assessments, site inspections and audits. Support compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022. Prepare CDM documentation, RAMS, COSHH assessments and construction phase plans. Deliver HandS training, inductions, toolbox talks and briefings. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and ensure actions are followed through. Support RIDDOR reporting and maintain accurate HandS records. Support company accreditations including CHAS, Constructionline Gold and ISO 9001. Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees. Prepare monthly HandS reports and drive continuous improvement across the business.
