This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take the next step in their health and safety career.You will play a key role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of health and safety performance across multiple commercial fit-out projects. The role involves regular site visits, audits, and working closely with Project Teams to promote and strengthen our positive safety culture.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, internal standards, and good practices.Sample review of site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) by Contractors.Investigate incidents and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training.Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and clients to promote a safe working environment.Assist the HandS Team with data collection, KPI tracking, and trend analysis.Assist the HandS Team in delivering training and presentations.Provide out-of-hours and weekend support on an ad-hoc basis as required.Assist in updating HandS Team documentation, policies, and procedures.Assist in retaining company accreditations including ISO 45001, RoSPA, Constructionline Platinum, Once For All SSIP, and SafeContractor SSIP.Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience:NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and SafetyTechnical Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH)SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)First Aid at Work CertificationFull UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicleUp to 3 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally within interior fit-out ..... full job details .....
