Health and Safety Manager Location: Cross Hands Position: 9 Month FTC Salary: Circa £55,000 Our Client: Autograph Recruitment is delighted to be working with another key player in the food manufacturing industry, committed to delivering high-quality, innovative products to high-profile, well-known customers. You will play a key role leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety procedures, promoting a culture of safety across the business. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with industry regulations and best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across the manufacturing site, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions. Lead health and safety training initiatives to ensure that employees are informed about workplace safety, emergency protocols, and safe work practices. Monitor and report on health and safety performance, ensuring the business meets both internal and external safety standards. Ensure the workplace remains compliant with all relevant local and national safety regulations. Investigate and report on accidents, near-misses, and safety-related incidents, and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with the senior management team to promote a safety-first culture and improve overall site safety.
