This is a broad, hands-on role focused on managing and continually improving health, safety and environmental standards across the business. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will maintain and develop the systems and controls required to ensure legal compliance, reduce operational risk and promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation. Health and Safety Manager responsibilities include - Provide practical HSE guidance across the business and to suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work and HSE documentation. Coordinate external audits, statutory inspections and company accreditations. Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Manage mandatory training, toolbox talks, fire safety and compliance inspections.
