Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Manager Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits Location: Staffordshire Our client, an established manufacturing business based in Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead site health and safety across a workforce of around 300 employees. The role focuses on driving a strong safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and embedding group health and safety policies. Reporting into senior leadership, you will manage one direct report and operate within a paperless HandS system. Responsibilities include risk assessments across production and engineering, accident investigation and root cause analysis, COSHH management, and ensuring LOLER and PUWER compliance. You will lead internal audits, site surveys and ISO 45001 implementation, deliver safety briefings and training, and produce KPI and performance reports. Strong audit and presentation experience is essential, along with the ability to influence behavioral change at all levels. Our ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with 3 5 years health and safety experience within a significant employer.
