Health and Safety Manager Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: Circa 50,000 (flexible depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, Flexible (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) Benefits: 26 days holiday + bank holidays Flexible working hours Professional development opportunities A leading manufacturing organisation based in the Stoke-on-Trent area is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to take ownership of their site safety systems and processes. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring full legal compliance and fostering a strong safety culture across all departments.The successful candidate will manage the full health and safety management system, lead training and development, and oversee compliance activities across the site-including involvement in COMAH-related responsibilities. You''ll also have line management responsibility for key on-site personnel and play an important role in emergency preparedness and response.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of health and safety policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulatory frameworksConduct risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and inspectionsDeliver and coordinate health and safety training across teams and departmentsSupport upper-tier COMAH site requirements, including safety reporting and liaising with the Competent AuthorityAct as line manager for on-site support teamsCoordinate and manage ..... full job details .....
