EHS LeadLocation: KendalJob Type: Full-timeSalary: 45,000- 55,000We are seeking an EHS Lead for our client based in Kendal to oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety for Ireland and UK, this role is crucial for ensuring compliance with EHS legislation, developing safety protocols, and fostering a culture of safety within the organisation.Day-to-day of the role:Take overall responsibility for EHS across designated facilities.Communicate the implications and duties imposed by legislation across the company.Distribute and communicate health, safety, and welfare information from regulatory bodies, safety organisations, and trade associations.Develop and implement a comprehensive training programme for health and safety to encourage a strong safety culture.Ensure all personnel adhere to safety requirements, using the correct personal protective equipment.Develop the departmental vision, culture, and work standards.Have strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing the Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental strategy.Coordinate and maintain Organisational Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) to ensure effective management of Health, Safety, and Environment matters.Create and implement EHS strategies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.Review and approve EHS activities to ensure effective issue resolution.Required Skills and Qualifications:Relevant degree and ..... full job details .....
