Health and Safety Engineer

Health and Safety Engineer, Whitstable, Kent. (Occasional travel to their other Kent site too as/when required)We are partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit a dedicated Health and Safety Engineer who will support the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of site-wide HSE policies and procedures. Based at the Whitstable facility, this role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with current legislation, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting environmental best practice across the factory.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be an experienced and qualified Health and Safety professional, capable of providing expert guidance to the management team while maintaining robust systems for health, safety, and environmental performance. This position also has responsibility for environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the site.Key Responsibilities(Non-exhaustive and subject to change)Maintain and develop HSE management systems to meet all legislative, accreditation, and directive requirements for the Whitstable site, with occasional attendance to their other site in Kent.
