HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR POSITION : Health and Safety Coordinator LOCATION : Hull SALARY AND BENEFITS : £32.5K + Pension ( up to 10% matched ) + Health Scheme THE ROLE : The Health and Safety Coordinator role is a key position working for our client in the manufacturing sector in Hull. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a safe, compliant and proactive working environment. The HandS Coordinator role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Some flexibility with the hours may be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : • Support the development and implementation of HandS policies, procedures, and safe systems of works, to include contractor control, PTW systems, and associated record keeping • Conduct risk assessments, and maintain RA and PUWER data base, inspections and audits, ensuring actions are tracked and completed • Maintain the Hazard ID system, through reporting, maintain and are tracked through to completion • Assist with incidents and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up • Coordinate and maintain accurate HandS documentation, training records and compliance logs • Support Managers and teams with HandS, guidance and practical support • Schedule and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness briefings • Ensure COSHH compliance by auditing and maintaining chemical inventories and associated Risk Assessments. • Prepare HandS reports to support internal reviews and ..... full job details .....
