CK Group are recruiting for a Health and Safety Coordinator, to join a chemical company in the aerospace industry, at their site based in Shildon. This is a 6 month fixed term contract.The Company:Our client manufactures paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.Salary:Up to £17.15 per hour (PAYE).Location:This role will be site based, at our client''s manufacturing site in Shildon.Safety Coordinator Role:Your main duties will be:Writing risk assessments and standard operating procedures for the maintenance department.Reviewing and editing existing SOPs to ensure they meet all UK and company requirements for safe working.Providing temporary health and safety support for the maintenance team.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have:Previous experience writing risk assessments and SOPs within manufacturing.A NEBOSH certificate.A solid understanding of maintenance tasks within manufacturing.Full UK Driving licence and access to a car.Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
