Health and Safety Consultant/CDM Advisor - Manchester - £45-£55k+package - well-established national consultancy, covering projects across the North-West.Job PurposeThe ideal candidate will be a driven Health and Safety professional with proven experience providing CDM support for major construction/development projects and creating a range of CDM documentation such as Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans etc. Ideally, you will be located in the North-West, and possess the NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate and be able to demonstrate that they either hold or are willing to work towards gaining the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent).The position will be predominately located at our head office in Manchester, but will require an element of travel to clients sites to attend meetings/audits which may be located anywhere within the North-West. Projects include healthcare, education, residential and other varied commercial schemes,Candidates must have experience in working within design teams and coordinating all aspects of health and safety throughout the pre-construction phase, therefore, excellent communication skills are a must. You must have experience in providing guidance and advice in line with current health and safety legislation and associated guidance to all levels of personnel.
