Health and Safety Compliance Officer Location: South East London Working Pattern: On Site Hours: 35 hours per week Contract: 1 month minimum (ongoing potential) Salary: £33-£38 per hour (Umbrella) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health and Safety Compliance Officer to support a busy Estates and Health and Safety function within an established educational environment in South East London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance obligations are effectively monitored, managed, and reported upon, whilst supporting the delivery of a safe environment for staff, students, visitors, and contractors. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and compliance support to the Health, Safety and Security (HSandS) Committee and Sub-Committee. Prepare agendas, reports, supporting documentation, and meeting papers for committee meetings. Produce accurate meeting minutes and maintain records of actions and outcomes. Analyse accident and incident reports, identify trends, and prepare reporting documentation. Review accident investigations and liaise with colleagues to obtain supplementary information where required. Monitor mandatory training compliance, including online learning platforms, and follow up with staff regarding outstanding training requirements.
