Assured Safety Recruitment is partnering with a respected UK manufacturing group to appoint a Health and Safety Co-ordinator for their high-volume production facility in Somerset. This is an organisation that doesn t just talk about safety it invests in it, with a strong track record of performance improvements across its UK operations.As a key member of the Site Team, you will assist the HSE lead the with strategy, complaince and culture. We re looking for someone who combines strategic potential with a hands-on approach, shape behaviours, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.Key Responsibilities Assist with the developing and delivering a site-specific HSE improvement plan to manage risks and ensure legal complianceHelp drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across all departmentsPerform internal and external audits to uphold high standards including 14001/45001Assit the HSE lead implement Group SHE systems, initiatives, and campaigns at site levelLiaise with regulators when requiredWhat We re Looking For 1-3 years exposure to HSE ideally large manufacturing or industrial environment. May not be your full time roleStrong communication and engagement skills at all organisational levelsKnowledge of technical and legislative Health and SAfety with keen desire to explore further.
