An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Professional to lead a team of HandS advisors and make a strategic impact at Hampshire County Council. The Role: The Health and Safety Business Partner will join the Organisational Resilience Service, which delivers the Council''s key risk and resilience activities. You will manage a team of experienced and qualified HandS advisors tasked with embedding Health and Safety (HandS) best practices across business areas by partnering with senior leaders. This is a newly created role, with the opportunity to shape the HandS systems and culture across a large organisation. What you''ll do: You will build relationships with key stakeholders to embed HandS practices, partnering senior leaders to understand challenges and drive improvements. You will focus on driving positive HandS cultural change through engagement and influence. You will provide sound HandS professional advice drawing on your extensive experience in industry, using data analysis to understand trends and risk profiling for HandS risks. Additionally, the role includes leading HandS/Risk working groups to address challenges and develop improvement procedures. You will lead and manage the Corporate Health and Safety Team to ensure success across all HandS areas, delivering on a new team structure and way of working.
