Health and Safety Assistant

Prestigious Electronic Manufacturing and Monitoring Company, based in Leicester are looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Assistant to join them. The position is to assist the Environment, Health and Safety Manager in ensuring the company meets its legal responsibilities and maintain effective Health and Safety systems. Therefore, you will be required to complete audits, write reports and keep accurate records. You must have excellent communication, IT and administrative skills, together with a practical and "happy to assist" attitude. Ideally you will have some previous experience, with IOSH and NEBOSH certificates and knowledge of working within a manufacturing environment. But if you are willing to learn and have the correct attitude, the company is very happy to train you. This position is part of the Environment, Health and Safety and Facilities department, so you may be asked to perform other duties, so flexibility is also required and a willing to help other departments. A clean driving license, together with your own transport is required, as you will be asked to audit other sites within the company.
