Health and Safety and Environmental OfficerThe RoleAs Health and Safety and Environment Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Health, Safety and Environmental practices across both production and office environments.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting Health and Safety and Environmental risk assessments and identifying appropriate control measures.Monitoring and reporting on Health, Safety and Environmental performance.Ensuring management systems comply with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.Working with senior management and production teams to identify hazards and develop safe working procedures.Supporting the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental strategies and policies.Identifying site training requirements and helping to ensure appropriate training is delivered.Leading accident and incident investigations and coordinating any resulting actions.Maintaining accurate records of accidents and incidents and liaising with senior management and the relevant authorities where required.Working with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure new and repaired equipment is installed and operated safely.Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor compliance with policies and procedures.Managing the safe disposal of hazardous substances.Maintaining legal and best-practice information relevant to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.Monitoring environmental resource usage, including water and gas, and preparing KPI ..... full job details .....
