Health and Safety Advisor

My client is currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to join their site in South Lanarkshire. You will be working with a well established and respected Scottish FMCG brand. ResponsibilitiesSupport the wider operations team through development, embedding and promotion of health and safety standardsTo monitor, evaluate and review Health and Safety policy and practices, make recommendations and amend as requiredTo advise on the implications of current and emerging health and safety legislation, including evaluating options and making recommendationsDevelop and deliver in-house training with managers and employees on all relevant aspects of health and safetyWork within all business areas to ensure Health and Safety standards are appropriately implemented within their areas of control and are sufficiently robust for anticipated demandsProvide input for regular Health and Safety communications for all levels of staff to include written information, toolbox talks and management briefingsWhat should you have? Experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment NEBOSH qualified Strong working experience of HandS systems and legislation such as ISO45001 / ISO 14001Strong and confident communicator and good stakeholder management skillsPromotes positive workplace culture, inspiring and ..... full job details .....
