Are you a proactive Health & Safety Advisor looking to join a growing civil engineering contractor delivering challenging infrastructure projects?

We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands. Due to continued growth, they''re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support projects including pumping stations, reinforced concrete structures, heavy civils and infrastructure schemes based around Leamington Spa.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams, you''ll be responsible for promoting a positive safety culture while ensuring projects remain compliant with current legislation and company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out regular site inspections and audits.
• Advising site teams on health, safety and environmental best practice.
• Supporting project teams with RAMS reviews and safe systems of work.
• Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitoring compliance with company procedures and CDM Regulations.
• Assisting with client audits and external inspections.
• Building strong working relationships with site management, subcontractors and clients.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within civil engineering or construction.
• Experience working on heavy civils, reinforced concrete, pumping stations, infrastructure or similar projects.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and current HSE legislation.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence site teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
