The role involves monitoring compliance with HSE legislation, project requirements, and safe working procedures; conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and audits; investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions; delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings; and promoting a strong safety culture among contractors and project personnel. Key responsibilities include: Providing day-to-day HSE advice and guidance to project management, supervisors, engineers, contractors and subcontractors. Monitoring construction and marine-related activities, including earthworks, excavation, lifting operations, heavy equipment movements, temporary works, civil works, structural installation and port infrastructure activities. Conducting regular site inspections, safety observations, audits and compliance assessments to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
