Our client is a well-established contractor with a strong reputation across London and the South, delivering construction, M&E, and construction services through a portfolio of long-term frameworks and local authority contracts. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Health & Safety Advisor to support a diverse range of domestic and commercial projects while developing their career within a supportive and ambitious organisation.
The RoleWorking closely with operational teams, you''ll provide practical health and safety support across a broad range of specialist projects and framework agreements. You''ll be responsible for promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and helping drive continuous improvement across the business.
Projects include:
- Domestic and commercial M&E works
- Construction and refurbishment projects
- Planned and reactive maintenance contracts
- Social housing schemes
- Local authority and council frameworks
- Specialist building and property services projects
- Carry out site inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
- Provide day-to-day health and safety advice to operational teams.
- Review and assist with risk assessments and method statements.
- Support incident investigations and identify preventative actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and client requirements.
- Monitor performance and promote best practice across multiple sites.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and site teams.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience within construction, M&E, property maintenance, or a related sector.
- Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Salary of up to £40,000.
