Health and Safety Advisor

SF Partners are supporting a business in Coventry CV7 that are looking to recruit an experienced HandS Advisor on a permanent basis. This organisation has a brilliant culture, opportunities for development, and a condensed 4 day working week. Hours: 7am-4.30 Monday to Thursday Salary: up to £45k DoE Hands-on advisory role responsible for driving Health and Safety standards across the manufacturing site. The role is responsible in ensuring legal compliance with UK HandS Legislation, promoting a positive safety culture, reducing workplace risk and providing practical HandS Advice and guidance to operational teams at all levels. Key Objectives - Maintain legal compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation. - Promote a positive safety culture throughout the business. - Reduce workplace accidents and near misses. - Support managers to effectively manage health and safety risks. - Continuously improve health and safety systems and standards. Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly workplace inspections and safety checks, taking ownership of findings and ensuring timely close-out of actions and in line with legal compliance. - Maintain Legal compliance with UK Health and Safety Legislation. - Lead regular internal audits across production, warehouse, engineering, and office areas in line with relevant UK legislation and company standards. - Lead on the development, review, and implementation of risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems ..... full job details .....
