Health and Safety Advisor (Interim) Location: Brighton and Hove, East Sussex Pay Rate: £20.00 - £25.00 per hour (DOE) Contract: Interim Assignment (Up to 4 Months) Start Date: Immediate Start Available About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support our client on an interim basis for a period of up to 4 months. Based in the Brighton area, this role will play a key part in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, conducting audits and risk assessments, and supporting managers in maintaining a safe working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional looking for a short-term contract with an established organisation. Key Responsibilities Carry out workplace inspections and health and safety audits. Conduct and review risk assessments and safe systems of work. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying corrective actions. Ensure compliance with current UK Health and Safety legislation. Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings. Support managers with policy implementation and best practice. Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation. Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the business. Essential Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent). Previous experience in a Health and Safety Advisor, Officer, or Coordinator role.
