Health and Safety Advisor

Our client is a leading main contractor delivering projects across the Midlands and North. The business is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety and Wellbeing through a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.The Role The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor will support the delivery and implementation of the company''s Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System across multiple construction projects. They will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to promote best practice, ensure legal compliance and drive a positive safety culture.Responsibilities Promote compliance with company Health, Safety and Wellbeing procedures across all projects.Carry out site inspections, audits and monitoring activities.Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements and statutory compliance.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, producing reports and recommendations.Provide practical Health and Safety advice to site teams and subcontractors.Attend project and client meetings to support Health and Safety performance.Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice sharing.Keep up to date with current Health and Safety legislation and industry standards.Support the development and improvement of company management systems.Education, skills and experienceNEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.NVQ Level 4-6 in ..... full job details .....
