Health and Safety Advisor Location: Bridgwater, SomersetSalary: 65,000 per annumWorking Pattern: 4 days per week on site The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support a major project within the UK nuclear sector in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity to join a complex, high-hazard engineering environment, where you will play an important role in developing and maintaining industrial safety arrangements, supporting operational readiness and promoting a strong, proactive safety culture. The position would suit an established Health and Safety professional with experience gained within nuclear, oil and gas, chemical processing, manufacturing or another highly regulated/high-hazard environment. Key Responsibilities As Health and Safety Advisor, you will:Develop and maintain industrial safety management processes and associated management systems.Support the development of industrial safety training programmes, including specialist input relating to fire protection procedures and requirements.Build effective relationships with construction, operational and industrial safety teams.Support the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and response arrangements.Coordinate statutory assessments, working with relevant technical and operational stakeholders.Undertake and review risk assessments, providing professional advice on suitable control measures.Promote a positive health and safety culture and identify ..... full job details .....
