Health and Safety Advisor Initial 12 Month Contract 4 Day Week (Mon-Thurs) Glascoed, Monmouthshire 30.41 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35) The Role Advising and reviewing manufacturing processes and associated documentationLeading internal and external auditors/investigatorsLeading the way with safety discussionsLeading and advising on SHE issues including wellbeing and occupational healthProactively supporting continuous improvement ideas for the production areaBeing an active member of an incident and emergency response teamLiaising with other functions at all levels within the business including external organisations and regulatorsKeeping up-to-date with current and changing legislation The Candidate EssentialExperience working in a highly regulated industry i.e. COMAH, Chemical, GasNEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent in Occupational Health and SafetyExperience and knowledge of different types of Risk Assessments e.g. COSHH, PUWER, LOLERExperience of conducting accident and incident investigationsExperience of conducting internal audits DesirableInternal Auditor QualificationAccredited member of IOSHDelivering training packagesIf this role is of interest, please send a copy of your CV to Tom McGuire by clicking the "Apply Now" button. ..... full job details .....
