Health and Safety AdvisorBristol or Exeter 45,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-regarded construction and property services contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. The company turnover more than 200 million and is going through a recruitment drive. This role will be working alongside a team of safety professionals on a range of projects in the Southwest area. Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include: Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislationVisiting site and engaging with managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquiresConducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, property or building maintenance.Hold or working towards a NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalentGood organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesGood communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders This role would suit an ambitious health and safety professional looking to further grow and develop their career.
