Health and Safety Advisor St Helens, Merseyside 40,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-regarded construction and building services contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. The business works across the education, healthcare and housing sectors; supporting a number of prestigious clients. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work through 2026, the company is expanding the health and safety team with this newly created role. Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include: Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislationVisiting site and engaging with site managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquiresConducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performanceEngaging with the client and other external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have: Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, property or building maintenance.Hold a NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent)Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesGood communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders A UK Driver''s license is essential.
