Health and Safety Advisor

Health and Safety Advisor Burton on Trent 50,000 + Car Allowance and Benefits Do you enjoy working closely with site teams and managers to improve standards, reduce risk and support a strong health, safety and environmental culture? We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to support a successful and growing businesses operating across a range of civil engineering projects. The role will cover approximately 10 projects in the East Midlands with regular travel to sites and premises. This role will play a key part in maintaining high standards, supporting continual improvement and helping to build on an already strong Health and safety record. Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:Supporting health and safety across active developments, making sure company procedures are in place and followed Carrying out regular site inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and reporting findings to site management Delivering inductions, toolbox talks and briefings to site teams and subcontractors Investigating incidents and near misses and supporting with close out actions Working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers to drive standards across multiple developments The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:Experience in a health and safety role ideally from within construction or a related industry A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification) Good communication skills and the confidence to ..... full job details .....
