Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a new opportunity with an established contractor? We are working with a leading construction and property services business to appoint a Health and Safety Advisor to support their operations across Nottingham and the East Midlands.

The organisation has a turnover of more than -700m and works with a number of major clients across the property sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business where you will have a hands-on role in supporting and improving Health and Safety standards across a range of sites.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Providing practical Health and Safety advice and ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed
• Keeping up to date with changes to Health and Safety legislation and supporting the business with any required changes
• Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and audits while working closely with site and operational managers
• Working with clients and other external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, property or building maintenance
• Hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders

UK Driver''s license is essential.
