Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health and Building Safety Assurance Advisor to join our Business Assurance team. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of a robust health and safety management system across a large, multi-site organisation, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and industry best practice. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, contractors, and external regulatory bodies to provide assurance on health and safety performance, property compliance, and contractor management activities. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advice, guidance, and practical support on health and safety matters across the organisation. Conduct health and safety audits, inspections, investigations, and site visits. Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidance. Assist with monitoring compliance with building safety, property compliance, and statutory requirements.Support assurance activities relating to Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations and contractor performance.Gather and analyse performance data to support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver health and safety training and awareness sessions where required.
