Health and Safety Advisor

Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving continuous improvement?We''re looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor based in Lanark to join a busy industrial site, supporting operational teams in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance. This is a hands-on role where you''ll work closely with site leadership, helping to develop a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with UK legislation and recognised management systems.The RoleAs the site''s Health and Safety Advisor, you''ll be responsible for:Providing expert health and safety advice to site management and operational teams.Promoting a positive behavioural safety culture across the site.Supporting and maintaining ISO 45001 health and safety management systems.Leading and participating in internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews.Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Chairing Health and Safety meetings and producing regular performance reports.Managing contractor safety, inductions and compliance.Carrying out routine site inspections and monitoring health and safety performance.Supporting major maintenance shutdowns and ensuring safe execution of planned work.Liaising with external bodies and supporting regulatory compliance where required.About YouYou''ll ideally have:NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).Previous experience in a Health and Safety role within manufacturing, power ..... full job details .....
