Health and Safety Advisor required to join a construction company, specialising in Groundworks and RC Frames, to provide expert Health and Safety guidance and support to project teams across Glasgow and occasionally Edinburgh.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting in fulfilling Health and Safety responsibilities to maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting audits and inspections to identify gaps and promote best practice and drive standards and performance.
  • Assisting in the investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions by documenting findings, identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of health and safety training programs.
  • Writing regular Health and Safety progress reports.

Experience

Ideally looking for a candidate with c5 years’ experience, predominantly gained within
Groundworks and RC frames projects.

A good practical understanding of the principles of Health and Safety legislation. 

Qualifications:

Minimum of NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction.

The company are offering £45k-£55k plus car allowance.
