Irwin and Colton have partnered with one of the UK''s largest bowling companies who are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. This role is brand new to the organisation, providing a fantastic opportunity to shape and embed a proactive safety culture across their growing portfolio, and will report into the health and safety manager.

The organisation operates a nationwide network of large entertainment venues that combine bowling with a variety of complementary attractions such as arcade games, soft-play areas for children, escape-room style activities and dedicated party spaces including food and drink.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Support the health and safety manager to embed a culture of best practice across the business and property portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Work closely with site teams and senior leaders to embed a strong safety culture
• Ensure activities across the portfolio are properly managed, risk assessed and regularly audited to evaluate performance
• Ability to work with local authorities and implement legislation for the likes of food and fire safety, security and safeguarding

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and relevant membership body
• Experience and knowledge of food safety is advantageous
• Proven multi-site experience in a similar role within a customer-facing environment, such as leisure, hospitality, or retail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
