Health and Safety Advisor

About the RoleWe are seeking a compliance-driven Health and Safety Advisor for an immediate minimum 3-month fixed term contract in the Moray region. This onsite role places you at the heart of an Upper Tier COMAH facility, managing a high-hazard, compliance-heavy environment featuring significant volumes of flammable materials.This position is ideal for an HandS professional, ideally coming from a malt distilling, oil and gas, process manufacturing, or heavy infrastructure background who thrives on technical precision and digital management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Management: Assist with the daily running and maintenance of the compliance and health and safety management system on an Upper Tier COMAH site.Hazard and Incident Control: Report site hazards, manage the triage process, and develop effective, proactive actions to prevent reoccurrence.Production Support: Act as the primary onsite point of contact to assist production staff with day-to-day safety concerns.Contractor Management: Review and assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for incoming contractor work.Auditing: Conduct regular onsite safety audits, rigorously tracking all corrective actions through to completion.Essential Requirements:Qualifications: Minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HandS qualification).Technical Skills: High level of IT literacy; the site operates on a sophisticated digital management system.Logistics: Valid UK driving licence, personal ..... full job details .....
